Our World Book Day was held on Friday 8th March. We marked the day by wearing our pyjamas, as our learning theme was ‘Bedtime Stories’. Across the school, we shared our favourite bedtime reads, baked and got creative to share our understanding of the books that we read. Thank you for the donations of second-hand books; Mrs Howe has taken this to Eden Valley Hospice bookshop and all proceeds will be going towards this superb cause.
Our Red Nose stock was a sell out this year! Lots of our children were keen to collect the different designs and we were hoping for the appearance of a ‘rare’ frog nose or ‘ultra-rare’ double face; but at the point of writing, none have been discovered yet! We will be wearing our noses in school on Friday 15th March.
On Friday 22nd March Ash Class will take part in the Undance Festival - we know they will be a 'show stopper!
