Ash

Welcome to Ash!

March / April News

Ash Class have loved researching different types of castles for their learning about ‘Kings and Queens’. They have written their own information texts about the types of castles, explaining their key features. They have used their knowledge of our Queen to compare her to Queen Victoria as another long standing monarch. Royalty has inspired their music learning, as the children have been learning a song called ‘King in the Castle’ and have composed their own verses to perform as part of the song. In RE, they have begun to learn about special clothes in other religions-when they are worn and what their meaning is.

On Friday 22nd March the pupils from Year 1 and 2 took part in the ‘U’ dance Festival at the Sands Centre. They gave an excellent performance on the night!
